# Folium

> Folium is a crypto wallet data API for developers and AI agents: multichain portfolios in USD, realized and unrealized PnL, DeFi positions, historical balance charts and human-readable, labeled transaction history, exposed through one typed TypeScript SDK. Folium is a product of SoleFox (Sole Fox, LLC, a Delaware company), its parent company.

## Status

- Early access. Polygon is indexing now; Ethereum is next; Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, BNB Chain and Avalanche are planned.

## How Folium indexes

Folium runs its own devp2p peer client (chainwire) instead of reselling third-party RPC. Data flows through a ledger-style pipeline: fetch blocks and receipts from network peers, parse them into structured events, enrich them with exchange/protocol/asset/price context and customer labels, store normalized rows in ClickHouse, and derive balances and PnL with materialized views.
